Rubicon x Stäubli – Installer competition entry details

Show Us Your Connections – Customer entry guidance

Enter a completed PV installation featuring Stäubli Original MC4 connections using connectors purchased from Rubicon for a chance to win a Stäubli premium toolbox valued at R13,000.

  1. Choose your installation

Enter a genuine, completed project that your business installed. It must use Stäubli-approved connector products and follow the applicable Stäubli installation requirements. The Stäubli connectors shown in your entry must have been purchased from Rubicon by your business. There is no restriction on when you bought them.

  1. Make the connections visible

Post a clear photo showing the Stäubli Original MC4 connections in the installation. An overview of the panels alone will not show us the connectors. Add a close-up or supporting image to the same post if it helps show the products and installation context. Use existing photographs where appropriate; never disturb equipment to take a photo.

  1. Publish your entry

Create a public feed post on LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram during the official entry period. Include your business name and a project reference. Tag Rubicon. Add both the hashtags #ShowUsYourConnections and #Rubicon.

  1. Check the details

The Rubicon tag and both hashtags are required. Post between 19 October 2026 at 00h01 and 19 November 2026 at 23h59 SAST. Keep your post public until 30 November 2026. Get the site owner’s permission before sharing photographs.

  1. Be ready for verification

Rubicon may ask you for product information, supply records, additional photographs or installation details. This may include your Rubicon invoice or invoice number to verify that your business purchased the Stäubli connectors shown in your entry from Rubicon. Rubicon may request this evidence during entry verification or before confirming you as the winner, regardless of when you bought the connectors. Send any requested evidence privately by the deadline specified in Rubicon’s request. Do not publish client records, invoices or private addresses on social media.

One qualifying entry per unique installation. Different projects can qualify separately; additional posts of the same installation cannot.

Every entry that passes verification goes into the random draw. The selected entrant must satisfactorily complete any further verification Rubicon requests, including proof of purchase, before being confirmed as the winner. No judging scores or public voting apply.

Check

Evidence and decision

Entrant eligibility

Confirm the entrant business, representative’s authority, role in the installation and published eligibility requirements.

Entry mechanics

Record platform, post URL and timestamp. Check public access, installation photo, the Rubicon account tag and both campaign hashtags.

Unique installation

Record business and project reference. Compare against entries across all three platforms and remove duplicates under the published rule.

Original MC4 authenticity and purchase from Rubicon

Rubicon checks available product identifiers, clear photographs and supporting supply records. A logo or visual resemblance alone is not conclusive proof. The connectors shown in the entry must have been purchased from Rubicon by the entrant, with no restriction on the purchase date. Rubicon may request the entrant’s Rubicon invoice or invoice number and check it against its sales records to support verification of the connectors shown. This evidence may be requested during entry verification or before confirming the selected entrant as the winner. Request further evidence where necessary.

Draw admission

Admit only verified qualifying entries. Give each a unique entry number and one chance in the draw. This will be captured weekly through an Excel spreadsheet.

Rubicon will use the app Wheel of Names https://wheelofnames.com/ to randomly select the lucky winner.
